Dr. John Howard introduces a free, 9/11-related continuing medical education series

My name is Dr. John Howard and I’m
administrator of the World Trade Center health program. The September 11, 2001
terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center in New York City, at the Pentagon
in Arlington, Virginia and near Shanksville, Pennsylvania occurred many
years ago yet responders and survivors of the disaster
are suffering adverse health effects even today. Multiple types of toxic exposures were
encountered by the responders by cleaning personnel and by residents of
the surrounding community. Monitoring and treatment of these health conditions is
available from the World Trade Center health program. This program in the you U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services is a health plan for responders and
survivors that provides medical care for specific health conditions that have
been determined to be 911 related. In addition the program is sponsoring
research to better understand the health conditions faced by 911 responders and
survivors. The World Trade Center health program with the assistance of MedscapeMD is pleased to provide you with a certified continuing medical education
series. These four educational modules are offered free of charge and are suitable
for health care providers as well as for anyone who wants to understand the
important lessons learned from the 911 disaster. I encourage you to take
